Archiving and Digital Preservation Policy
Preventive Care in Nursing and Midwifery Journal is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation, integrity, and permanent accessibility of its published scholarly content.
To guarantee the continued availability of our publications, all articles published in the journal are archived in Zenodo, a trusted digital preservation platform developed and maintained by CERN and OpenAIRE. Zenodo provides sustainable storage, assigns Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs), and ensures permanent, open access to all deposited content.
In addition to Zenodo archiving, routine backups and comprehensive disaster recovery procedures are carried out by the journal's official hosting and publishing partner, Yektaweb Afzar Shargh, to safeguard against data loss and ensure platform stability.
Furthermore, metadata for all publications, including DOIs and OAI-PMH (Open Archives Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting) records, are maintained in standard, machine-readable formats to support seamless indexing, discoverability, and interoperability with major academic databases and search engines.
